Saturday was a rough one…
I did not feel well at all. I think the stress of the day job and life over the last week just forced me to slow down on Saturday. When it comes to my health, I’ve learned to listen to my body. If it’s feeling exhausted, I take a nap (even though I’m not usually a nap-taker), if I feel that headache heading into migraine territory, I’ll take the meds I usually avoid taking because I try to tough it out.
The whole day was not lost. I still managed to do some edits on Seaside Valleria 2 and get some writing done on Seaside Valleria 3.
Remember: whether you’re feeling pain (emotional, physical, mental) – it’s okay not to be okay. Take time for yourself, even if no else around you will let you. Don’t try to do it all when you can’t (advice I am taking myself this weekend).
It’s okay not to be okay.
How did your Saturday go? Good or bad, please comment on this post and let me know!

Hey, had a lovely weekend. We did a family 5k bubble dash run for EACH charity.
We ended up looking like the hulk. Stays on your skin for 2 days.
Wow, Kerry – Congratulations on finishing the 5K! I’ve never done a bubble dash before but they look like fun (except for the part about staying on your skin for a couple days – yikes!). Thanks for sharing how your weekend went and thanks for reading! ~Marianne
