So how did I do this weekend?
Short answer: Not so great. Family drama sidelined me, so I’m reminding myself that progress not perfection is important. The weekend wasn’t a total wash, however. I did manage to write 5000 words in Seaside Valleria 3, mostly through dictation (I wrote more about that in a recent post). My muse was spotty this weekend, so I tried to jump in and work during those moments when my creativity was fully loaded. I also made progress on the book covers during one of those moments. I didn’t have a chance to test the Seaside Valleria 1 ebook yet, but I’m setting a goal to do that this week, with the hopes of finalizing it this upcoming weekend. I’ll probably get Royals 10 from my editor this upcoming weekend as well, so I want to finalize Seaside Valleria 1 before I delve back into the Royals.
I’ve got another stressful week of work and family stuff ahead, so I’m just trying to stay positive, and remember that taking time for self-care is just as important as everything else.
How did your weekend go? What’s your week look like ahead? Comment on this post and let me know!
