Next Year's Publishing Plans

2017 Publishing Schedule, Last Chance to Enter Giveaway!

Greetings, Vallerians!

First off, I want to wish all of you a very healthy, safe, and Happy New Year. I’m so appreciative for all of your support this year (for me and my books), and I’m so thrilled you’ve taken this journey with me to Valleria!

This post will give a brief overview of my 2017 publishing schedule. It’s already changed since my monthly newsletter went out, so read on to find out more! This is also the last chance to enter my giveaway (just a few days left!), and I’ve got the link below for you to enter if you haven’t already. I also released Lorenzo & Lily (Royals of Valleria #8) this month! I’ve included links below, in case you still need to pick up your copy.

See you back in Valleria in 2017!

Just to recap this amazing year, I released books 6-8 in the Royals of Valleria series (which featured Cat & Eddie, Alex & Rebecca’s wedding, and now Lorenzo & Lily). I had hoped to write and publish more, but I’ve been dealing with some health issues this year, which will also affect me next year (though I’m hopeful for a better, healthier 2017). Thanks so much to all of you for your patience in-between releases this year, and thanks in advance for your patience next year.

So, what’s next?

Definitely more royals! I have SO many more stories to tell about our favorite fictional royals. If you’ve visited the FAQs on my author site, you know I’m planning to write stories for all the royal siblings, as well as the royals cousins. I plan to write Princess Carolina’s story next, though it won’t be out until late fall. I’ll also try to publish another Royals book, novella, or short story.

Will I release anything before next fall?

Yes! When you read Lorenzo’s story, you’ll meet Hector. I got so inspired by him that I decided to write a spin-off series! This new series, the Seaside Valleria series, will be set in the Vallerian seaside town of Masillia and feature Hector, his friends, and co-workers, though I expect a royal or two will pop by from time to time, too. Lorenzo does live in Masillia, after all. *wink*

UPDATE: I’d initially decided to keep Hector’s story as book two or three (and even started writing a different book for the first in the series), but changed my mind. Hector’s story was too compelling, so I’ve decided his book will be the FIRST in the series and I’m hard at work on this book now! I’m sooo excited to bring this to you, and I hope you’ll join me as I spend some time by the sea in Masillia! His story should be released in late spring/early summer, with books two and three following shortly after that next year.

Anything else?

Print books are coming! I hope to publish the Royals of Valleria series in print next year. Stay tuned for more info in a future blog.

More giveaways! Since folks are digging my current giveaway, I’ll be doing some more giveaways next year – including signed paperbacks once they’re ready!

I’ll also have some fun surprises along the way, too. Lots more to come!

    1. Hi, Cyndi,

I am planning to write a book for all the royal siblings, so don’t worry! I have special stories in mind for all of them. To read more about why I didn’t publish a book this year, you can check out my latest blog post here. I also answer this question (and more!) on my author site in the FAQ section here: Thanks for being a fan of the series!
